Open Data

Our open data initiative aim to contribute lightweight data models with high utility, and vocabularies that are currently hidden or hard to access. We focus primarily on the domain of agriculture, but stray into related things as obviously, everything connects.

Meta Models

To support the development of information models for different domains the entity graph constraint model has been published. See the section on specifications for more information.

Common Information Model for Agriculture (CIMA)

The Common Information Model for Agriculture is a lightweight data model (ontology - a description of the isness of things) for capturing and exchanging information about the agriculture sector.

V1.0 Release Candidate

The 1.0 release is mainly focused on dairy cattle data structures and events related to cattle lifecycle.

The data model can be found as html and as Entity Graph Constraint Language.

Latest

The model is being extended to include other kinds of productions and data related to fields and feed.

Datasets

As well as information models we will also be publishing open data sets of common and useful vocabularies.
